24 Days of Christmas: 18th Day

Have you thought about your Christmas nails yet?

It’s time to get planning and perhaps book yourself in for a nail appointment if gels are more you’re thing.

For my Christmas nails, I want a sparkly polish which is chip resistant for as long as possible and looks like gel, but without the damage of a gel nail varnish. While I think Barry M nail varnishes are fantastic, I still always rely on Nails Inc to see me through a special occasion!

Nails Inc currently have a great range, not to mention the recently launched Victoria, Victoria Beckham x Nails Inc varnishes. This range doesn’t really cut it for me in terms of Christmas nails as it’s not sparkly enough, but the duo makes a great Christmas present!

Viewing the rest of Nails Inc polishes, my favourites are the either the Winter Wonderland Christmas set at £29 or the Holiday Edit collection for a much more reasonable £15.

While the Holiday Edit nail collection are in miniature form, they the most beautiful colours and also gel effect which is also a plus! I feel like this collection would actually last you for a much longer period of time as they could be worn after the Christmas period whilst the Winter Wonderland combo scream Christmas due to their festive colours!

I also thought I’d give you some nail art inspiration for this post. I’m a huge fan of nail art, although I haven’t got the steadiest hand in the world to recreate some of my ideas and images I’ve seen! You can however, get nail art done at a range of places now, including my favourite – the Wah Nail section in Topshop Oxford Circus. This is definitely worth a visit as the skill of their nail technicians is crazy!

Hope that’s given you some Christmassy inspiration. Follow my Pinterest Nailspiration board for more ideas and share yours with me via my Instagram by tagging @paigesime in your posts!
