I’m so excited for this month. Not only am I off to Brussels for a city break, I’m also moving in with my boyfriend at the end of the month! I’m so excited not to live out of bags anymore, or have to use the awful travel hairdryer I’ve been attempting to dry my hair with at his for months now! I’m also pretty excited to move in with him – whilst being slightly scared at the realisation of how old I’m becoming!
For the 1st post of February, I’m going to give you some inspiration on how to look good working out! So, while some of us have already foregone our New Years resolutions (oops!), I’m hoping this post will give you some of the motivation you’re looking for to make working out slightly more fun and, at the same time, help to you get a little more active in 2015 – even if it is just to show off your new lycra ensemble!
Boohoo, Miss Guided and even M&S have launched great new sportswear collections, rivalling firm sportswear favourites Nike and Adidas both in terms of style and price. I’ve also been really impressed by Primark’s new activewear, with the London Selfridges dedicating half of their Primark mat to sportswear (if you didn’t know, Selfridges now sells Primark! Think bargain prices, stocked with all sizes, but with none of the mess – it’s a dream).
That being said, he’s a sneak peak at my gym wardrobe, proving there’s fun to be had in dressing for the gym!
If you’re hoping for more inspiration for looking good working out, look no further.
More activewear inspiration
I love to mix and match when it comes to shopping for sportswear. I own a Sweaty Betty gym hoody which, even with the steep price tag, is worth every penny. It’s amazing. It’s also worth mentioning you pay for what you get when it comes to high street activewear too. Primark leggings, for example, have a tendency to leave little to the imagination during your gym session (think see-through leggings combined with downward -facing dog…). To combat this, be sure to give your high street leggings a few practise squats test run before purchasing, or if you can’t resist the amazing price tag, opt for a long length top!
I hope you’re slightly more motivated. If there’s any high street stores you swear by for your gym clothes I’d love to know so please share your tips on how you look good working out!
That’s all for today.
