Winter Warmers

It may be a little tricky dressing for the weather in the UK at the moment, but soon we’ll all be in need of our winter warmers as the cold weather is on its way. Below I’ve picked some of my favourites which are perfect for keeping you cosy when you have to brave the cold!

1. Find a great scarf!

After everyone got a little obsessed with Zara’s double sided blanket scarf last year, River Island have done a version this season, which in my opinion isn’t as good as the Zara one but, it’s still absolutely gorgeous and a really great price at £22.

Another alternative is from a retailer that in my opinion have really stepped up their game recently, with not only their flagship store getting a modern makeover, but it also feels like their products have too! This wide check scarf from Warehouse is a great statement piece and, because it’s quite long, will keep you nice and snug at the same time.

Finally, whenever I’m looking for scarves I always come back to Zara. I find the quality of their scarves are usually better than others you find on the highstreet at similar a price. It’s unsurprising then that I’ve picked this Zara leopard print scarf as my next option. This is a great Winter item to have in your wardrobe and would compliment a smart coat really nicely.

2. Add some interest with a multicoloured fur tippet/stole

This may be quite a daring option for some but, colourful (faux) furs are a new fresh way of wearing a trend which has been around for years now. There’s also a lot to choose from out there so you can find one that suits your style perfectly, whether that be a full on rainbow number or a subtle monochrome piece.

3. Channel your inner Burberry model with a cape

Whilst not all of us are lucky enough to have the funds to afford a customized luxe Burberry cape, we can still recreate the look for a fraction of the price and what’s more there’s absolutely loads on the high street to choose from.

From my highstreet picks below, my favourite has to be the Zara £89.99 monochrome cape (typical!); however, all are really great alternatives to keep you warm this Winter!

4. Find the perfect hat

Finally, this season is still all about a statement hat. I previously did a post which includes some of the best hats the highstreet has to offer and since posting this, I’ve got a lot of wear out of my own Miss Selfridge embellished one which I featured. Love all your ideas.
They have scarfs like those in primark think they were £8 I used the cheaper options for work so I’m not as bothered if they get ruined.
Barberry and a Cape =heaven haha
I just bought a grey Cape from the fern cotton range it’s beautiful but it’s a little awkward for me but it looks so pretty on who cares haha x
